Innsbruck ISF
1990 | KWPN | Roemer / Notabel
Innsbruck ISF was a 1990 16hh KWPN mare by Roemer out of Bettine (Notabel). She was approved with both the Oldenburg NA as well as the KWPN. Innsbruck was a top performance mare in Jumper, Dressage, and Eventing. She received the top score at her KWPN IBOP test (MPT), was named Keur Predikaat, chosen as the best of the best by an international jury at the keurings, as well as won numerous performance awards from the USDF. She was the loving mother of Airway FMB (2008).
Pedigree
Innsbruck’s sire, Roemer, holds a legendary international record as a breeding stallion. This 17-hand Preferent Dutch Warmblood, 1975-1996, was the top producer of dressage horses in Holland for over seven years. He was the leading sire in the USDF Horse of the Year standings over an eleven year period. His talented offspring have competed successfully in dressage through the Grand Prix Level. Roemer stood at Iron Spring Farms.
Roemer had an illustrious career as a competitor and sire until his death in 1996. Today, through the use of artificial insemination with frozen semen, Roemer is still contributing to the legacy that began in 1975. Although Innsbruck is no longer with us, her memory lives on in her daughter, Airway FMB, who we kept for our breeding program and has herself given us many beautiful foals.
Innsbruck’s Foals
Airway FMB is a 2008 Premium and Reserve Champion Oldenburg NA filly by Aliano. She is a flashy bay with a super pedigree. She’s pleasant to work with and is always willing and curious. Airway possesses magnificent gaits that are supple, bouncy and elastic with excellent knee action and a free shoulder.
