2014 | Oldenburg NA | Rascalino / Aliano / Roemer / Notabel
Rococo FMB is a 2014 Oldenburg NA colt by Rascalino out of our mare Airway FMB (Aliano / Roemer / Notabel). Rococo is a special colt with a top jumper and dressage pedigree behind him. This colt possesses an excellent attitude and displays amazing movement. In August 2017, Rococo (now named Rouaco) was licensed with the Westfalen NA and entered into the Stallion Book II.
Rococo’s sire, Rascalino, completed the dressage portion of his Adelheidsdorf performance test with the knockout score of 153.37. This score was good enough to make him the winner of the test, with the score of 103.56 on the jumping portion. In fact, this respectable jumping score is probably a product of the of the Wedekind/Ferdinand and Wendekreis/Ferdinand in damsire, Velten Third’s background. A further performance component is added through paternal grandsire Rubinstein I, a line known for dressage excellence, but also with some talent at the jump. World Cup III as the sire of the second dam insures dressage excellence. Rascalino is a beautiful, elegant animal with the best gaits and exceptional freedom of the shoulders, sure to make his mark in modern dressage breeding, in the hoofprints of his famous sire and grandsire.
Rococo’s grandmother Innsbruck ISF was a top performance mare in Jumper, Dressage, and Eventing. She received the top score at her KWPN IBOP test (MPT), was named Keur Predikaat, chosen as the best of the best by an international jury at the keurings, as well as won numerous performance awards from the USDF.
Rococo’s great grand-sire, Roemer, holds a legendary international record as a breeding stallion. This 17-hand Preferent Dutch Warmblood, 1975-1996, was the top producer of dressage horses in Holland for over seven years. He was the leading sire in the USDF Horse of the Year standings over an eleven year period. His talented offspring have competed successfully in dressage through the Grand Prix Level. Roemer stood at Iron Spring Farms.
